MBA got this very wrong

I’m sorry to the people who are sick of me talking about MBA. Quite frankly, I’m sick of it too. Unfortunately MBA continues to dominate the news cycle.

My goal is not to promote MBA, but to show you the inanity of their stickers, slabs, and everything else.

Viewer Evan sent me the latest:

I had purchased a lot of 1950 Bread for Health football cards a few years back and sent them to SGC for encapsulation. They weren't in great shape and the "Bread for Health" logo on the bottom had been trimmed off of all of them, meaning they should all be labeled authentic. SGC inappropriately graded a bunch of them a 1, instead. Here's an example of what they look like fully intact:

Well fast forward a few years, I have since sold most of them off and I went on eBay to see what may be available from the set and what they were going for. I found this Bob Waterfield listed in PSA's eBay store and it's one of my copies that SGC inappropriately graded a 1. To my surprise, it has an MBA gold sticker representing that it's UNDERGRADED. I actually shook my head seeing it and figured it could add some great fuel to your fire! 

I guess now a card missing a significant part of the card is worthy of a grade better than a 1.

Note: I tried researching standards on the Bread For Health set but didn’t find much. I did find this old listing showing 14 cards from the basketball set with the tab removed and PSA graded them all Authentic for that reason.

I watched The Last House with my anti-horror wife. The first half was really, really enjoyable. It actually reminded me of all the family time my family got in 2020 and how much fun we made that.

The second half was pretty meh.
