The Big Announcement Is...
Mooooooore sports card stuff!
I’ve been teasing a “big announcement,” and now is the time:
I am teaming up with Graig of Midlife Cards and Adam of Splendid Sports to create a new sports card podcast network.
It’s called Sports Card Clubhouse.
Graig and I have a new weeklyish podcast that we’re launching now called Surface Issues where we will talk mostly about vintage cards and topics. You can find the first episode here or probably on most podcast networks. I’m just now dipping my toes into podcasts for the first time, so I can’t say for sure how that works, but I’m about to learn.
We also have:
A YouTube channel, where the podcasts will post probably usually a day after the podcast network
An Instagram page
A Twitter/X page
All three of us are very busy so we’re trying to take it slowly, but I anticipate another podcast or two within weeks.
Why are we doing this? Well, we talk about it in the first episode of Surface Issues, but in brief:
We love talking about sports cards. And the allure of trying a new medium without visuals (although we’ll still be on video) was too great.
Go give it a listen!
PRESENTED BY COLLECTOR INVESTOR AUCTIONS
CIA, owned by The Texas Snowman Jeremy Donson and his business partner Chris Sewall, is the best auction house for collectors. Here are some cool items in their current auction:
🗣️ YouTube Comment Of The Week
After I shared the Michael Jordan McDonald’s bbq sauce jug from 1992 that sold recently for $10,000:

🎬 Upcoming Videos
I’ll be on my friend Tony’s channel, TJ Is Online, talking about basketball cards. Make sure you’re subscribed so you can check that video out when it lands this week.
Other videos coming:
AMA answers (finally)
Redemption replacements
Return of ACE 100
The card shop I’d love to open one day
More Attic Find Fridays!
Right now, the only one I have planned is a follow-up to the video where Jamie showed his 29 different T206 Ty Cobbs.
The follow-up is short but amazing!
🎁 My Pickup Of The Week

I compared it to a lot of authenticated autographs and it seemed okay, especially as an in-person quick auto and not pack-pulled.
Plus I got some cool stuff at Don’s Sports Card Center on Sunday that I’ll show in a video soon.
👻 Brief Horror Movie Review of the Week
I went to see The Long Walk on Sunday. It was very, very good, but also extremely predictable.
4 stars out of 5.
